Oil paint on canvas board. 11″ x 14″. $850. Pink and blue sky with reflections in the landscape. High pinyon pine on the western slope, painted from inspiration on the way to Nucla from Montrose. After a rain in the early evening a sunset lit the sky with pink fire. The dirt road I was on had some water in the ruts which reflected the beautiful sunset colors contrasting with the clean deep green of the pinyons. I hope you can smell the rain.
